Broncos Coaching Staff

Coach Kiefer is the Head Baseball Coach at CMHS.  He is entering his 17th year as a head coach.  He has led the Mustangs to 7 CIF playoff appearances and league championships in 2009, 2024, and 2025. He coaches the 13u-14u Broncos.  He also pitched in college at Fullerton College and Rio Hondo College.

Coach Richards is a Varsity Assistant Coach at CMHS.  He is entering his 5th year at CMHS after spending 3 seasons as an assistant coach at Concordia University.  He coaches the 13u-14u Broncos. He starred for 4 seasons as the Shortsop at Cal State Fullerton and was drafted by 3 different major league organizations.

Coach "C" is a Varsity Assistant Coach at CMHS.  He is entering his 8th year at CMHS. He also spent 8 seasons as a Varsity Assistant Coach at Newport Harbor HS.

He led the Mustangs JV to a league title in 2007 and has been a part of six CIF playoff runs with the Mustangs Varsity teams.  Coach C also coaches the 13u-14u Broncos

Coach Munoz is the JV Head Coach at Costa Mesa High School.  He is entering his 3rd year.  Omar will help coach with the 10u Broncos.  He is a 2019 graduate of CMHS and was instrumental in the Mustangs reaching the CIF Title game his senior year.  He continued his baseball career at Westcliff University.
